A local DVD project on music therapy for those with
Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia can now go
ahead, thanks to Lottery Funding from UnLtd who have
teamed up with Gerrards Cross Molly Dee of
Songsconnect.
Molly has extensive experience working with those
who have Alzheimer's. Earlier this year she gave a
talk to Gerrards Cross Church of England School and
has also sung this year at the National Gallery in
London as part of SingLondon.
Molly is thrilled with the Award from UnLtd and says
songs connect carers with those who have advanced
dementia, so that they can both be in the same
world. She has already produced a CD of traditional
songs and nursery rhymes for carers which is being
sold this Xmas, and the DVD will be on the market
